“The group of dancers ‘little virtuosos” prolonged their performances based on the request of the public. In the artistic viewpoint the creation of these genial children applies to the Georgian ancient folklore dances. In these dances is absolutely distinct the roles of man and woman – the man represents the live face of solidity, braveness and protection.
The man are dancing with swords, knives and their expressive movements in the air, crowned by the standing on tip-toes, represents being constantly in the readiness for the war, the feature owing to which this people defended their land. Whereas the woman is a symbol of tenderness, esteem and feminity, which the man should protect. The woman’s kerchief, put by the woman between combatants, can stop even the bloody battle.”
